Hellbans

So I recently was looking at hellbans, a way to keep out spammers and leechers that keep coming back for my friend's private site, and I came across an interesting topic/plugin/thingy.

Hellbans, where you can still look at everything on the site, do everything, make posts, and etc, but nobody else can see them.

You often don't realize it until you've decided to ragequit the site, apparently.

Discuss it's implementation on MPGH?

I thought for a bit and came to this Hellbans=specially trained cyber ninjas
and dave has an army of them

I could have sworn I was on a hellban for a while on facebook

This would only work on newbies anyways ... any member with more than 10 posts will probs know when he's being ignored and he'll check whether his posts can be seen when he's not logged in
