This is what I was talking about last night about the tree that fell on my line.

For everyone else: A tree fell on my power line outside my house, and instead of pulling it down and breaking it like usual, it pulled the line down, and stayed there. It pulled the pole over a little bit, but because the power isnt fully out, the power company is not doing anything about it. Im scared to go out there with a chainsaw because the power line is still live, and I might get fucked up trying to cut it out. And even if I did cut it out, there is still the matter of the lines being almost on the ground, and the poles bent. :s

Yup. Rural = lots of land, and lots of room to do what I want. Plus I dont like city congestion.

Wish i was there too.... I live in Maryland Near DC and NY...

Its been almost a full week since this thing fell.

The weird thing is, there was no storm that night, and sometime in the middle of the next day, I walk outside and there is a tree down on the line.
