Rules against modding

Can you get banned for using texture/sound mods? I was planning on making a video, but my sniper looks sexy as fuck like this, with black ops sounds:

Could I get banned for it?

Nexon's being a bitch and is technically taking a zero tolerance on hacking. Even if its just visual, they'll ban/suspend you if your caught. If you post a video with a mod in it, your most likely to get bad reception from viewers as they think your 'violating the TOS.' Although to me its harmless, i would suggest you don't use mods in videos regardless how insignificant.

That has NOTHING to do with having an unfair advantage over other players though. It's not hex edited or anything.

Yeah I know, but technically, modifying ANY files within the Combat Arms folder is a breach of TOS. That includes even harmlessly adjusting the REZ files. I know its stupid but its Nexon. You will most likely not get banned, but there is still a chance you will.

That's not the point. The point here is that it's a mod, an alteration, an edit of THEIR files - they don't want you doing that. So, regardless of how harmless it is, it's still a mod. Therefore, it warrants a ban/suspension. It sucks, but we're talking about Nexon here.

Nexon couldn't make exceptions for texture files.

if nexon ever permitted texture mods, wouldn't everyone be using it?

messing around with the game files wasn't allowed in the TOS in the first place.
