How to make a generator?

i have a set of cards that i was wondering if it was possible to find the pattern between them in which i could then just type the first number and the second number would be produced by the generator. is this possible?

WTF....?
Windows has a function for a ID generator. It's like 4 string long generated with brackets enclosing. Example: {3434dfdff-342452sd-233423d-43423df}

Who said anything about random? He said if he knew the pattern of the first number, then would he be able to generate the second number. Which of course you can. However for us to help you'd have to tell us the pattern .

Find the pattern? You serious? There are probably like 1 million possibilities..
