Alright, nothing against HaloSheep or anything, but this will explain using VZipFlip in detail, as well as modifying files that are worth modifying.
Please Disable UAC before you start this and make sure you're an administrator before you start reading this.
Introducing VZipFlip
VZipFlip is a nifty little tool coded by AzuiSleet with the second pass checksum coded by Fovea.
It allows ordinary users to explore the contents of .hfs files, the core client files that Vindictus runs on. Modifying these files will grant the client the ability to do any client sided editing that can also be done via memory editing, but in a easier fashion.
Using VZipFlip
VZipFlip is a console program, meaning that it cannot be run as a stand-alone executable. So let's make some quick modifications to our command prompt first:
Modifying our Command Prompt Window
1. Either Click Start, then Run, or press the Windows Key + R shortcut combination. In the pop-up window, type in cmd and press Enter.
You should see a black/white command prompt.
2. Right click the top bar where it says Administrator, and click Properties.
3. On the 'Options' pane, click Quick Edit mode.
What Quick edit mode allows you to do is to copy and paste.
To Copy: Highlight a section of the text and RIGHT CLICK or press ENTER to copy the text to the clipboard.
To Paste: Copy a section of text or the text of a file and then RIGHT CLICK anywhere in the command prompt to paste it in there.
You can also press the up arrow to repeat a command that you have already typed in.
Using it with Command Prompt
Open up CMD again.
1. Download VZipFlip6 after reading the subsection on obtaining it below.
2. Browse to the folder VZipFlip6 has been unzipped to using CMD.
3. Go to this directory in cmd.
For example, if your directory was C:/VZipFlip6
Then you'll type in
then press ENTER
then press ENTER
By Default, cmd should be pointed to C:\Users\[Your Username]
If you put VZipFlip on your desktop, you can just type in
then press ENTER
and you're done.
Now let's say you wanted to unzip all the .hfs files in the Vindictus folder. I would recommend you COPY all of those files, then paste them into the VZipFlip6 folder.
Then in your cmd type in:
And that should start the process. Make sure that you are an administrator.
The other two possible uses are to unHFS a single HFS
Code:
VZipFlip z [file.hfs]
Or to reHFS a single HFS
Code:
VZipFlip h [file.zip]
There is no native support to re-hfs all .zip files at once.
Obtaining VZipFlip
An attached VZipFlip6 has been included below. These include three batch files:
ReHFS_File.bat
Code:
@EcHo off
VZipFlip.exe z %1
unHFS_All.bat
Code:
@EcHo off
VZipFlip a
unHFS_File.bat
Code:
@EcHo off
VZipFlip.exe h %1
Drag and drop the specific file onto that batch file to do whatever that's to be done on it. @
DanK for pointing this out.
What to do with those unzipped files?

I'll just explain how to do Permanent binds, my style.
1. Browse to your Vindictus HFS folder, and copy paste
Code:
FAC6B533E4D245CE8B9A67DB1472B2B98F3F54FA.hfs
out to your VZipFlip6 folder.
2. Use the unHFS_All.bat file by double clicking it, it'll unzip the .hfs file to a .zip file.
3. Open up the .zip file, find
Code:
config_preset_common.cfg
Inside it should contain the following:
Code:
bind "F1" "cc_quick_chat_action 1;"
[...save space...]
bind "5" "+quickslot5"
Make modifications to it:
Code:
bind "F1" "cc_quick_chat_action 1;"
[...save space...]
bind "5" "+quickslot5"
bind "y" "campfire_repair"
See what I did there? Now everytime you launch the game, when you press the y key, you'll tell the client to start the campfire_repair action.

Unzip ILikePie's file to see exactly what he bound to what.
ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR OLD .HFS FILE IN YOUR NEXON FOLDER BEFORE YOU REPLACE IT WITH THE NEW ONE THAT YOU MODIFIED.
Afterword
Hopefully this clears up how to use VZipFlip for the last few of you, or the newcomers who are too intimidated to try something new. It's not hard at all. I'm surprised there aren't more people making releases like these, instead of the same old autoit/JBit scripts.. >_> Yeah. I'm calling you out. So what.
F.A.Q.
Ask me anything concerning your errors, and I'll try to troubleshoot and put it in this subsection later on, for those of you that still have issues.
