Real Coder and What are they?

What is you definition of a real coder. All of you are say, he and she is not a real coder but other people are. So tell me What is your definition of a real coder

I will say a real coder is someone who gets what he wants done. Understand how it works, what to do to get it work and why he got it to work. This the reason i call my self a real coder, Every code i use, I know how it works, I know why it works, and i can code it Backwards and it will work most the time when ii haven't made any logic errors.

A real coder is someone who can code... just about anything.

A real coder that I respect is someone who knows not just how to code, but proper code design and execution.

Real coder don't troll Newbies..

is what your saying is instead of using integers for T & F you use bools. Not creating Large Structures to carry small informations and stuffy stuff ,

I wish I was a real coder. Hopefully I'm getting there. I still have a lot of problems and I extremely respect the real coders that can do pretty much anything.

I have trouble visualizing what I'm going to do ahead of time and sometimes I am really stumped when the answer is right in front of me.

A real coder is someone that can improvise on the spot and overcome problems like none other. (what I think)

A real coder gets paid to code, you and all the rest of us are just hobby coders...

Sorry but that's the truth.. You might have some Experienced coders here but that doesn't make them a real coder..

Why would you say getting paid? I could be Volunteer Real Coder.

I could be getting paid by a site for making hacks and not know what a truth table is. Not know what the difference between bool and int. Even the difference between DWORD and int.

When I say "Get Paid" I don't mean by some forum ran by a bunch of 12 year olds, im talking a real coder is getting paid by his company or has his own company which brings in a income. I hate to burst your bubble but the facts are give it another couple of years and Coding will be the least thing on your mind(by then hopefully you will scoring hot chicks or maybe guys in your case?) the stuff you learn now will be resurrected later on if you decide to follow the coding path(as a job careerer). But due to the age factor and what lays ahead for you this means your not a "real" coder untill you go through all the stages ahead and then come back to coding...

In a couple years I'll still be going for computer science. I think it's good practice now learning how things work so you'll be ahead of others in your classes later.

A person who likes to code , wants to be creative , learns to create and enjoys what they do.

People naturally want to be 'GOD' and a creature , I realized this upon talking to a roofer once and he said "hey look at that roof i built that" . He was naturally proud of his labor.
