How to update..

ok, i had crysis 2 before and i could update it easily, now that i want to update it by using the crysis2launcher it shows the activation thing but as i don't have a valid key is there a other way to update it ?

Hi, Mella.
You need the original .exe of the game to properly patch your game. If the last time you patched was at 1.2 you need the original 1.2 game .exe.
All .exe files are available here, just use the search form.
Hope I helped you a bit.

I updated the game to 1.8 last night with the original 1.0 .exe .
If you have the virtual CD, boot it and it's gonna be in the bin32 folder I think. If not, search the forum and download it.
After you have it, paste it in the gamecrysis2 folder of the game itself and choose yes when asked. Then hit the launcher, if it does not update, download the patch from the C2 forum - top thread about 1.8 patch.

Place an original .exe in your folder(some older version).
Manually download the patch from their forum and install it.
Use the FLT crack.
