Prices!

It would be nice that all of us who farm any items could get to an agreement to not lower the prices of certain items so we all could keep farming and selling stuff at nice prices without fearing those crazy price-cutter, just a suggestion, set a bottom price

It would be nice if people weren't undercutting all the time. But you will never get enough people to agree to a bottom price. Humans are greedy, that is fact and the reason it would never work.

Yes it would be nice, but someone wouldn't do and besides, I think most of the people using hacks from this sites are leechers that don't even read anything besides posts in the main hacks section

I couldn't agree with this post anymore. I don't post here too often, but I do "stalk" the forums lol.

i agree with this topic, but due to the increasing of botting ppl just stack up their goods in 100pcs for sell for x100 less than the market prices, and that's just stupid of them for getting ban and go around complains about detected or shjt

what im doing is im just put mine on sell for a few pcs with the prices is suppose to be and the rest im just throws them to the shop or selling them slowly.

Haha, gold farmers probably just NPC everything. They get their gold from the thousands of battles they complete on their multiple accounts. To waste time selling items on the Marketplace wouldn't be worth their time.
Besides, I think it's been confirmed that the idiots who undercut ores and shit by a ton are actually us, not gold farmers.

Nah, they're smarter than you think they are. I know for a fact that people that run gold sites, especially some people that run MapleStory ones have a lot of controls on the market set in place. It wouldn't be surprising if they had the same tactic for Vindictus.

fundamental problem with Vindictus lies in that gold doesn't do much for you. Apart from enhancement and dye, there isn't that much to drain gold into, unless you are very into getting the best gear possible, aka +15 weapons.

Most people realize that the system is rubbish and quit anyway though.

So if you set a price, there will always be people to beat you out. And if somehow every single person dealing with that item sells at the same price, eventually it'll keep dropping either due to ^- free market, or gold sellers beating out the price.

it's not greed or stupidity, it's free market
if we don't lower the price as the supply increase, there will only be lots of unsold items stuck in the marketplace, not utilized by any player

Protip: Law of supply and demand runs the marketplace, so undercutting isn't a major threat so much as other... things.

Actually supply and demand doesn't work, because some people just don't check market prices and just put it in at default price
