Laptop or Desktop?

Hey everyone! I need someone's opinion.

So what should I get? A desktop or a laptop? Which one is the most designed for gaming? My mom tells me to buy a desktop, because its good for installing a lot of video games on it and its faster than a laptop. The brands that I am interested in getting, will be HP or Acer.

Thanks, but I am going to buy the desktop. I am too lazy to build one. I have about $3,050 to spend.

for a gaming laptop you need to pay 1600
for a gaming pc you need to pay 800 so make your choice

your mom's recommending you to buy a desktop to play games faster? dam..i wish my mom was like that..

Are you kidding me?
My mom is recommending different torrent sites to use.
Right now we only use Kick Ass Torrents, The Pirate Bay (obviously), and the main one is Demonoid.
My dad built my computer. And he's blind.

Fuck, my parents are awesome.
