Fog Hack

and you need lag to reproduce this, like, 500 ping for 12 mins. Teams usuly get there report faces on before that so....

Maphack must be possible since I saw a livestream of LoL were GM's can join a match as a GM obviously and see the whole game with no fog.

yes, it was. Theres commands for the admin version of the game. I made a thread once because i found a file with a big list of commands like god mode, mana, spawn a certain bot, etc, and a red responded and said it was for dev testing. One of the commands removes FOW.

I found a method to "hack" the fog with the method mentioned in the first post BUT i won't make this public.

Why? Well:
- there are a lot of script-kiddies which will play with it and so the gameplay will be reduced considerably
- it's useless for me
- i don't have the time to spend on this

The topic is just for discussions...please do not try to contact me for related questions about it. LoL is a wonderful game and i don't want to be just like DotA: 70% of DotA players are using fog hack.

see that file full of comands?
see how its not used?
see how people seem to think it is able to be activated?
see how when GM's, or (game devs to be more precise) join a game, its on the beta servers?
theres a big difference wth stuff that is acivated server-side on the beta servers and the normal servers, hence why they are able to activate, and disable FOV.
when theres somebody like you, (threadstarter), that claims that he has developed a way of turning it off, that basicly says to me, and probably most of us, that you just turned off the cloud, or that your just trolling.
i use this word lightly on the basis that, considering i know how most of the game is coded, (exeptions being the hole beta area), and that there are a few others on here that also might know as much, or more than me.
but, when a person, with no prior posts about any game info-releases of patches/hacks, comes on here, and declares that they have done somthing, that not only is highly improbbable, but nearly impossible, you can see why we use the word troll.

i ask minions to close this, ban him for at least a week and please, give us a dedicated minion so that these dont et out of hand.

So has someone verified that other player's coordinates are only sent to the client when the server says they should be visible?

Also, was the OP misleading when he said the lagged minions provided line of sight (I haven't tested this)?
