Play without reactor?

Is it possible to play without using the reactor because the reactor refuses to work even after following the tutorials that "Fix" it. If yes please tell me how.

There is no way possible. The Reactor updates and patches the game. Even if you could open up the game without the Reactor, the game wouldn't run. It would give an error or wouldn't connect to the servers.

Steam still uses the Reactor

steam doesnt download a full reactor, steam will download a mini reactor just for AVA so you can log into your IJJI account

But it is still the Reactor.

well it doesnt have the problems me and many other people had with the full reactor.

That's true. But the initial question was could he play the game without the Reactor and THAT is impossible.
