There has been a thread about this before but it has since been closed. Now that we are working to get new hacks going and so forth it would be nice while in the interim if an explanation was given on how to Dual Client.
In the previous information that I read it stated to download "Process Hacker 2.14" and mentioned "singleton" I was reading up about 'singleton' and everything and I don't understand if it is something I need to download to run in Process Manager or there is a singleton associated with the Nexon filesystem. Please someone clarify and/or provide a full tutorial on how to get this to work.
Dual Clienting would be great for a lot of us who have high level 70s or what not to powerlevel our Karoks while new hacks are being developed.
So far
I've tried VMware Workstation 7.1.4 and was able to download but when I tried installing it was grayed out. I tried their older versions and all their downloads for Windows and nothing worked. I called their Tech Support - they said it's a help-desk issue and took my name and said they would call me back within 24-48 hours and that was almost 2 days ago...
I tried Sandboxie but it gave me a 'Could not invoke program' System Error Code: The requested operation requires elevation (740).
I originally tried VirtualPC with a Windows 7 32 bit OS and quickly found out on other posts that it was a waste of time (wouldn't work).
I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and downloaded Process Hacker 2.14 instead of 2.16 since that was suggested in another thread and as stated above I don't understand what 'Singleton' is; whether it's a download or file in Vindictus.
So basically I'm lost after exploring many forums to seek answers and read up and tried practically everything to not just be another leech.
Thanks in advance - please help me.
1. Download Vmware Player 3.1.4 build-385536
2. Install WinXP-Pro
3. Make sure you install vmware tools
4. Set the ram to a minimum of 2gb
5. Download vindictus into vmware
6. Play and enjoy.
Note: Playing a game like vindictus in a Virtual Machine takes a decent computer, if u are running a crappy 1.8ghz 1Gb Ram dont even try this, i'm not even sure how you can play vindictus with that low of setup. Id suggest a 3ghz or better processor and minimum of 4gb ddr2 ram.
Note2: I know this process works because it is how i run my bots so i can leave them working and do other things.
My PC:
3.4 ghz Dual Core
8Gb ddr3 ram
2.5tb hdd
and a crappy nvidia geforce 8400gs (yeah im upgrading soon)
the main question is, did you try this after the patch?
Virtual Machines are hard to detect, I would be surprised if VMWare was detected.
why dual client when you have vmware that is sad....
vmware = 10 CLIENTS gogoog
Im gonna give this a shot to train my alt during event. Think I should Allow 4GB/4GB (I have 8GB in total) and set both clients to low graphics so the GPU isnt rhaeped (5770)?
Is this for Dual Clienting on the SAME account? Or is it so you can just run two vindictus clients at a time?
I have two Passports and it is to run two clients to powerlevel. My system is beast so we good on specs. I tried the Vmware player and it did the same thing as Workstation - downloaded good but when I tried to install everything was grayed out. No way to install... I only have Windows 7 64 & 32 to install.
I tried this before and after the patch btw. I just tried installing vmware player again and yes it is still grayed out. 8(
Yes I tried this before patch and after with the same results. I just tried installing Vmware player the version you mentioned and still grayed out. 8(
I suspect it might have something to do with Java so I'll investigate and in the meanwhile maybe someone else has other advice or ideas..

recommend installing on a ssd instead of ur storage drive. no idea what this grey out ur talking about, that is most undescriptive way to explain your problem...

I currently have two builds, but my main one is downstairs in the garage (Which I've turned into my little haven) This ones sporting Two 5770, it was used as a low-end bitcoin mining rig for awhile... but as you know crossfire doesn't work in vindictus. The other one is Dualing 6950 as it cost $260 for them combined.. >>
The file downloaded properly and then when I try to install it - the window that pops up that usually has information (on the installation) with the little next button at the bottom right hand side doesn't have information. The title bar is fine but everything else within the window all grayed out with nothing. It doesn't even show selections grayed out it is just completely blank.
That is a description of my problem and in my previous description should have been adequate to understand that while possibly wondering if the selections were even visible which they are not. It is completely grayed out with nothing - just blank default gray color for the window. The reason this might not sound right is because there is a problem. I checked the process and it is not hung up waiting on another program. All my drivers etc. are up to date. My system specifications are not the problem because so far my system is better than any specs that I've seen here.
I've tried every method to get multi-clienting to work to no avail. My only hope was hearing back from VMwares technical support but it is the week end and I think I'll just have to call again tomorrow. Thank You.

this method works tested it yesterday
I'm currently setting up a VMWare Player (otherwise known as VMPlayer.exe) setup. The host computer is Windows 7 X64 Ultimate running on a 48 core opteron server system with 48 gigs of ram, and hd radeon 6950.
I tried running windows XP on the virtual using build 385536, a fresh download, and install of vindictus, and even tried re-patching vindictus AFTER it installed (directly after)
and have even increased the vram to 128mb in the workstation (Tried that after it didn't work the first time,) and I'm STILL getting an exception error.
The game launches, hackshield window shows up, updates, then vindictus initial screen shows up, and that's it. If i launch it from the web console, I don't ven get the exception error, it just closes and that's it.
Anyone that could help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd like to be able to get this working.

128mb of ram is nowhere NEAR enough, read the post above yours and it gives you the specs you need. Also note I think this post started and was confirmed before Karok came out, so they may have patching vmware instances of vindictus. Couldn't say for sure but its a good possibility.
