file location

now that the new good stuff lite is working, we can work on more hacks now...
i can only figure out the paths of the followings

it's enough to make god mode and free transform etc.. but i'd like to do more..
can anyone point to me the paths for heroes.3db and projectile.txt and action_table_player.txt etc?

Sure, I'll remain civil too. I don't think it'll spawn into another argument because there there isn't much to argue about.

Not sure how you saw that as hypocrisy, I did write my intention was for you to realize the ramifications of your behavior. "I'll make my impression of the community representative of what that KR user must've felt when he entered here."

As for the issue with the application, I did say it before, you were the only one seriously talking about an application in that thread. Everyone else was talking about keeping spies out and protecting the forum, there was no misunderstanding. That issue came up again after things were patched for you guys. I can get the thread if you didn't see it.

As for the voluntary part, same thing as my previous paragraph. The general idea was to privatize the forum. Read the thread again, you proposed the idea of the application and some people may have commented on it, but the rest of them were thinking of criteria to let people access the forum.

As for the rest and what I could've simply wrote instead of the above paragraphs, I would like you to consider my viewpoint. The only reason why you would've bothered to seriously look into my work and write your post is because HFS mods are now broken. I gave fair warning about this and suggested a shift in priorities and rather than consider the possibility I would be right, well...we know what happened.

Given the timing of your post and the fact that there were absolutely no attempts at resolving the situation when that mess happened (in fact, you and others had made it worse), I'm not sure how there could be any expectation that I would reconsider my stance.

What finalized it was you, and I do still plan on sticking with it. It kind of defeats the purpose of showing the ramifications of your behavior if I don't stick by what I said. There weren't any issues with it two weeks ago.

As for my work, it's fine. It isn't being posted or linked to on this forum and I have no intention on helping to get it to work for the purposes people here are interested in. And I know it's not hard to find on Google, it's intended to be very easy to find.

it's not just that i don't know the folders for the files
it's also that good stuff lite only support modifications on those files:

anything under models\
anything under materials\
anything under maps\
anything under sound\
scripts\body_layer.txt
scripts\face_layer.txt
scripts\player_costume.txt

anything else is off limit..

there's not much design space for new move sets..
additional visual effects, additional existing status effects, additional existing projectiles, minor changes to attack sequences, changes to hitbox etc can be made..
no big overhaul whatsoever

i guess i'll wait for some other tools getting (hopefully) released as i'm no coder myself

Read the directions that they've been including to download Good Stuff Lite. A download is literally in the first result in Google.

I don't get why you care so much about a mod that until recently, no one really paid any mind to. Does it bother you that much I don't want my work here? I'm amazed how you're willing to jeopardize a working project just because you're unwilling to Google and click a link.

Arugueing over the internet, especially a forum, is a fruitless act and achieves nothing but an immature attempt at drama and insults. Nunya, i love ya, but you and checkbox need to both grow up and brush this crap under the rug. This crap should have been dished out in PM if anywhere not in the public folder.

I exclude raj72616a because he is the only one here talking about the purpose of this thread.
