The registry is basically a database on your computer that stores information about your computer, settings, ect.
When you uninstall\change programs, some of the files in your registry become useless. They take up space, and affect the stability of your system. Cleaning out your registry regularly will increase you FPS by quite a lot
It cleans your registry, its fast and easy, and I find it pretty useful
2) Background Programs
When your running a game, background programs on your computer will slow it down. They take up RAM, and are sometimes really annoying -_-
A simple and easy way to solve this is to install game booster (http://majorgeeks.com/downloadget.ph...9b7584026d7aec), It temporary stops background programs while you are playing games, then enables them after your done.
Now your probably asking: I can close programs myself, why would I need to use this?
Well, not only does it close unneeded background programs, It has a pretty cool Game Defrag option, which organizes the files of your game in a way that makes them start up faster, and run smoother. Also, not only does it stop unneeded background programs, It also stops the things you would have a hard time stopping, like Automatic updates and all that crap
3) System maintenance
Even though CCleaner takes care of the registry, there are way more things it doesn't cover. For this, I would recommend Tune Up Utilities 2010 (Its a trail). It improves overall system performance, and comes with a neat feature called "Turbo Mode", where like game booster, It closes unneeded background programs and services. i got a better tutorial. dont be poor and buy a graphics card, some more ram and buy the AMD Phenom II X6 3GHz processor.
Game Accelerator did wonders for me. But since the new font in CF it doesn't add any more FPS.

Nice Guide. If you have advance system care pro you could use SmartRam that releases a lot of RAM. Doesn't ruin your computer at all, it's like a safe drug for your computer.
