It's not going to happen easily, whoever told you it's easy to code hacks is wrong.
It might be easy to copy and paste code, but even that takes some skill to learn, because you need to know where stuff goes.
My recommendation is buy a book on learning C++.
A great book that helped me learn Visual Basic is "SAMs Teach Yourself Visual Basic in 24 Hours", and to learn C++ you can buy "SAMs Teach Yourself C++ in 24 Hours"
It' takes longer than 1 month to fully understand a simple hotkey hack
