PROBLEM?

I have this problem.
Evertime I click notifications on facebook, i check them and then i go back to homepage and the number of notifications are still there and still the same. Never change.

any one else have this problem?

What's wrong with using facebook?
I use to check for social updates and I play some online texas hold'em.

delete cookies/cache.
refresh page.

Was kidding , Just try relog and clearing cashe , or just log in from another computer and check , if it stays it means it's your account problem , if it's not , it means it's your computer..

when you click the icon dont click something right away that might be the problem, sometimes it does that to me.

But clearing cache doesn't work for me.

Happens a ton. Facebook double posts, sends messages twice and all sorts of bullshit.
