As I’ve been following the ongoing debate over melee shifting, I must confess to being a bit disappointed. In the past we’ve addressed the exploitation of bugs as contrary to the spirit of the game. Players should operate on a level playing field, and only skill should determine the winners and losers. Taking advantage of an in-game glitch that gives an unfair advantage over other players or makes weapons behave in ways they were never intended is not “skill,” it’s cheating.

To put it in plain language: the Combat Arms Team considers shifting to be an illegitimate play tactic. We’re currently working on a way to eliminate the bug that allows it, but until that time, melee shifting will be considered a bannable offense. " -Nexon America Inc.

I'm probably getting banned pretty damn soon then.

melee shifting is where you left click and then sprint and let go at a certain time and you knife right after you sprint.

To shift --
You must right click, or 'Special attack', then shift while doing it, let go of shift at the right time, then left click, or 'Normal attack', which, on sickles, causes a double-hit, which seems like a one-hit kill, or superknife.
