[Help] Injector problem.

Injector problem.

Whenever I run an injector I get this:

"Windows cannot access the specified device,path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

Tried 3 different Injectors and they all say the same thing. I put it in a separate folder, with the dll['s], and I made sure to run it as Admin.

All I have that's relevant in the background is Avast!, but this problem was there before that was even downloaded, and the injector was added to exceptions.

Using Windows Vista (usually that alone is the problem with everything ever).

It's current on updates.

It's an administrator account.

All of the antivirus programs I have are Windows Firewall, Windows Defender, Avast!, and Advanced System Care.

Am I just screwed? Seems to me like my comp is just being an ass.

Run them as administrator, it should work this way.

wich injector do you use ?

All injector are normaly detected like hack tool then antivirus dont want of them.

Disable your antivirus or add the injector to exception

Disable your antivirus. Seems to block it.

I turned off everything I could and added it to exceptions, still says the same thing.

Does your computer even recognize the file type?

Why don't you give proper details? What do you have running in the background? What version of windows do you have and, including service packs, is it current on updates? What is your user account? (Administrator account, user account with administrator rights, etc) What anti-virus and/or firewall? There's so many reasons for that kind of generic error that we could give you generic answers all day long and you'll get nowhere.

Still wont work, for some reason when I try to add it to exceptions for windows firewall, it says that the injector is being used somewhere else, so I deleted it and downloaded it again but it still said the same thing, so I just disabled the firewall but that still didn't fix it.

Could always go hard core and turn it all off. Shut down advance system care, avast, windows defender, and windows firewall. Use ctrl + alt + delete to get to your task manager, and use google to find the "process name" of each of those if you can't just right click and close it on the bottom right of your screen.

Alternately, you can try activating the administrator account on your computer, and running it from there. (yes, I know your account is an "administrator" but its not THE administrator) if you need to know how to do it search google or try to follow these instructions,
click the start menu (bottom left)
go to all programs
go to accessories
RIGHT CLICK command prompt
run as admin
type the following:
net user aministrator /active:yes
it should say "Command completed successfully" (bad spelling?)
log off or switch users, you should now see "administrator" as an account
log in as that account and try running your injecter from there.

if THAT doesn't work...well...good luck.

I'll try going hardcore.

If that doesn't work I'll use the your second advice, although I'm pretty sure that's what I did to switch to an administrator in the first place.

After some research I've found some...odd things. Maybe something from here can help you as well
Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file.
The two things I got out of it to try are
1: Uninstall Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Component
2: Reset your Internet Explorer settings (from the advanced tab)

Sounds weird but a lot of people on that forum had success with one of these two (mostly the top one) so hopefully it'll work for you. (Note most of them were also on servers...but it never hurts to try).

Which part...cuz I've run vista and 7 for the last year or so and I definitly have internet explorer setting I can reset (not that it'll do what you need but eh.) And I assume from the face and the short post the other ideas didn't work?

EDIT: I forced my computer to give me the same error...I basically made the program unaccessbale by everything, including the system itself.
Right click your injector, click properties (at the bottom), go to the security tab (I think that's it...working on win7 right now), and dink around until you get into changing permissions. Find out how to "add" a user, type "everyone" and click checkname, once it underlines it, click "ok" or w/e it is, click the "full control" checkbox, click apply or ok or w/e it is and PRAAAAYYY!!. Goin to test this now...it may not let me reset permissions cuz...well...I don't have permission in ther first place. Worth a try. Good luck

Edit2: That was fast and easy, it allowed me to reset the permissions on it. Give it a try. ^_^
