Finding bytes

Ok, I am a noob, but I'm trying to learn. I quit coding because I was a C+Per. But I've come back to it because I learned another language called Lua. I thought if I learned that, I have a shot at this. So I know a little bit of C++ but all that doesn't matter for this anyway. I've read many tutorials on this but I can't get it. I need to know how to find bytes! I attatched a video to show you exactly what I'm doing.

So, for example, for the Instant Win address 0x37858060, these would be the bytes?:

Code:
("xC7, x85, x2B, x8D, x01, x0D, x01"); - ON
("x90, x90, x90, x90, x90, x90, x90"); - OFF
Is that correct?

flip em around, OFF bytes are bytes u find, ON bytes are x90's
