And if it's something bigger then it's obvious you're getting a ban instead of an infraction.

nuff said. no one HAS to infract.

The rules do not say that you have to be banned through infractions. Willingly break a rule and you can expect an infraction as minimum, ban as maximum. It depends on the frequency of infraction and severity.
