Depends on wether you prefer AMD or NVidia. AMD has more brute power, but NVidia is way better with new techniques (Tessalation n stuff).
And also, buying more than 4 GB of ram isnt nessecary. I'm running 4 GB of Ram and a GTX 460, can play all COD's, Metro 2033, and Crysis 2 on Full HD smoothly.
