**How To Bypass Mods As Of 7/16/2011**
This is my tutorial on how to bypass patched .Rez mods.
I'll be using GUNS_M_PV_AR.rez as an example.
**NOTE**
THIS TUTORIAL ALLOWS YOU TO BYPASS ONE GUN TYPE.
Reference:
Gun type - (AR's, SMG's, SR's, MG's, SG's, etc.....)
Patched - All model mods (GUNS_M_PV_)
GUNS_T - Texture mods (Not patched)
GUNS_SND - Sound mods (Not Patched)
GUNS_M - Model mods (PATCHED!)
1st Step:
- Copy and Paste your GUNS_M_PV file into another folder and BACKUP TEXTURESCRIPTS.rez
- Download (a)mod/s (Patched) and extract it using WinRar.
- Inject ALL mods downloaded into the file you want.
(E.g) Inject a M16A3 to G36E mod, M416 CQB to M4A1 sopmod, and other model swaps/ cross mods.
2nd Step:
- Locate the GUNS_M_PV_ rez file you injected your model mods into
3rd Step:
- Rename GUNS_M_PV_(GUN TYPE HERE).rezNew to TEXTURESCRIPTS.rez
**REMEMBER TO BACK UP THE ORIGINAL TEXTURESCRIPTS.rez IF YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN**
4th Step:
- Replace the old TEXTURESCRIPTS.rez with the new TEXTURESCRIPTS.rez.
5th Step:
- Enjoy your mod! Remember this only bypasses one type of gun.
- Press the Thanks button
