for your first question: search in the Options menu Under graphics tab, if theres nothing about the fog than search the ini files..

for the secend question: it will NOT work. cuz' to see throw walls aka Wallhack you need to change the code behind the game not the textures. the CODE is behind the textures and simply changeing the textures wont change anything.

the way i see it: if you want a hack for APB now youll need to code it yourself and bypass PunkBuster Yourself..

On top of which I feel as if the OP used to play games that were Valve-Engine based, in which texture replacement is very possible and can be used to create "wallhacks" (the term wallhacks only references the ability to see through walls, not specifically directed towards the coding of the brushes ingame).

And to answer that question, no, you can not replace the textures for the walls to create wallhacks. The game has a consistency check and will trigger as corrupt if any files are found to be altered. The only way to use a wallhack in this game is to code it yourself, and even then it will be a pain in the ass considering how many people you may see.

I'm thinking ESP is better than chams for APB.

I'd be happy if someone found a way to change the colour of the 'enemy' name from red to blue (or yellow) - as i'm colour blind i sometimes can't tell who is the enemy until its too late.

O.O this is a must!!!more urgent than fog U_U

the best that i can tell at all is to try editing the mega ini file named "APBCompact.ini" i see the fog volume parameter and i'll set it from true to false...and use notepad search to get ll the five parameters and settting false to all...the launcher is obbligatory to take effects...
Copy your modded file and rename it so when starting the launcher you have to replace the ini file with the modded putting original name...cause the launcer update it anyway -_-
For name colours not find in that ini file, is used only for fog, fov, blur, bloom and other stuff like this U_U

If you owned the original version of the game (like me) You can take the old files and mod them into the new system removing the debuffs on mods and stuff ect.. However without working knowledge of how to do that you is out of luck..

Also you cant remove smoke or fog if you do pb density scan will detect you and you will be banned or blocked..(unless you bypass the scan)

I seen somone explaining how the scan works before but bsically it pulls up a file says ok this is supose to be fog density 3.4 and your test comes back 0.0 bam blocked /banned go to pbbans for info and report number..

However G1 (being a cheap ass as usual) isnt steaming to pbbans atm TO MY KNOWLEDGE.. So you might get away with it till dun dun dun THE UPDATE we are all still waiting to see that I personally dont think is ever coming is just another lie..

@ so you think that removing the fog, a graphical feature not a hack make me banned? i do after every launcher check, a modify of compactini:fog and other shit like blur and shadows, cause the lag is a shit, better more fps while it works, and not banned yet...is ridiculous if they ban for this...

Its a hack feature hence its bannable..

But again they arent steaming with pbbans like thier supose to or utilizing the screen shot feature ect. Its basically just scanning known sigs atm if sig is detected you get blocked. So you can get away with this till they start steaming then everything is gonna change..

mmm, not sure...no fog is useless in this game, the characters disapper at certain distances where the fog start...no fog is used in fps where sniper rifles go all the map and you spot enemy without fog more distant U_U, it doesn't happen here

and sniper rifles don't go so far in the game, another reason cuz fog is useless and only laggy as hell...
Paid hacks remove screenshoot i know, or something make them not visible to pb...
