redstone

There are many many ways how you can use redstone, and the newly "invented" thing, pistons. However, it's not perfect.

lets discuss future items and ideas, on how the redstone thing will upgrade.

my idea:
blocks that function like redstone, so instead of trying to hide the redstone behind a wall, the new block could function as the redstone AND be the wall.
-also then if you combine for example a cobblestone block with redstone (workbench), you get... "Redstone Cobblestone" which looks like cobblestone, but can function as redstone. so it's completely invisible. (interesting idea lol)

thats stupid, just put redstone down one block, its easy.

Mod-wise it would be OK (but applicably useless) but other than that not really.

And tbh redstone is fine the way it is.

Just learn to hide it -.-
its easy as, what i wouldnt mind is being able to hide pistons easyer becuase there a bitch to hide

omg I know how to hide redstone, I'm just saying that 4 example for an adventure map, it would be easier to hide, and didn't take up so much space,,etc etc..

Just make an underground level.

IMO, I think redstone blocks would look ugly.
As Heartview said, redstone is fine the way it is.

yes, maybe...

Not needed if you can use redstone torches its easy anyway...

The new items would be a mess, right now, redstone has an off and on state. Combining there blocks will make one hell of an item mess and you couldn't really see were the redstone was going. Remember about coding, not just make something up and make someone else do it. Your idea could work, but you have enough space if you are making an adventure map. There is space underground.

We should be allowed to run redstone vertically and also be able to hide it under blocks
