Can't Start MW2

Hi guys today I downloaded and installed MW2. By After instaling everything I started "alterIWnet_configure.exe" and got error same as "iw4mp.exe".

Any Help?

If you still want to go the long way here is how you do it:

Section A - What you need

MW2 downloaded
.Net 3.5 framework installed
VC++ 2008 redistributable x86 installed
DLCs Repository (See bottom)
The bootstrap update
WinRAR (or any other archiving tool)
Torrent client (only if you get the DLCs Repo from the torrent link)

(Download links which are not listed here are in Download section - except for mw2 that you have from Skidrow or Steam)


Section B - How to install

Install MW2 from you install discs or your downloaded Skidrow version
Extract aIW-DLC1, aIW-DLC2 to your MW2 folder
Extract bootstrap update to your MW2 folder
Run alterIWnet_cofigure.exe to set your name
Run iw4mp.exe and let it update


Section C - Notes

When you are asked to overwrite files, answer affirmatively
