❓ maplestory on Linux (ububtu)

hey ok i cant get CA to work but its diff from maplestroy and i like MS so i was wondering if you guys knew if it was possible for it to work on linux? ill go ahead and try and post with results i get...

EDIT: i was able to install and stuff... but when i launch the game, nothing happens... my fan speeds up but thats all, ps ububtu is supposed to be ubuntu

No idea. But the problem sounds like the one I had a while back. Check your firewall settings.

Google "Wine for Linux".
It let's you run .exe files on Linux.
That should solve it as Linux can't run .exe files.

i use wine but it stands for Wine Is Not an Emulator... and thats basically what its supposed to do... Emulate windows items... and idk how to change my firewall settings on Linux... and plus i really messed up this OS while working in the Terminal... i cant install anything anymore... idk if i can install maple updates even if i do get it to work....

i cant wait 3 weeks for a new hard drive because the next week will be school

i wont have time for anything!!!

I'll be uploading Maplestory in a .rar for everyone after every update.
So if people need clean files they can have them

lol i have win7 on this laptop, but my hard drive got fucked up... cant do nothin... wont boot up win... got lucky linux still works... and i have a desktop with xp... but its to sucky... i need a graphics card plus more sd-ddr ram... its just under a gb... and the onboard graphics are shit... it used to be able to plasy the old maple... before win7... it was when like vista had jsut come out...

Pretty much it.

I load stuff slow because of the RAM but no lag while playing because it's sick processor.

ahah 1.8 here. Anyone care to explain what a linux is? and what does it run on if it cant use .exe
