see this virus
ok guys now i have a virus that infected windows explorer (not internet explorer)
so its at this directory C:\Windows\explorer.exe ok should i remove the files it shows me with avg or just go and do a system recovery sry cant upload ss because tinypic or imageshack cant upload it i dunno why
if i remove it will it do critical damage to computer or what?

edit: oh sry i posted in wrong section and i tryed to do a system recovery no difference and it now says svhost.exe is a virus
Whatever you said about delete it, don't delete or will fuck with your computer.

Just make a complete scan with your AV and see if it is "cleaned".
i dont think its an virus maybe wrong message....but google or make a complete scan....

i did a complete scan
Make this :

Start the Windows in safe mode.
Open Start Menu -> Run and type sfc / scannow
If possible, you can always format your computer and get rid of them easily.
Your computer wont even run if you delete that. Thats the base
ok guys i decided to do a system recovery hope it works if it does ill ask a minion to close this thread
I'm moving it anyway...
The best is to do a system restore.
If you delete a wrong file then your pc won't even work .

If you got the Windows CD etc you can format your PC

yeah tried system restore but the virus is still there and i still have the windows cd going to format asap oh and @Jigsaw close the thread this problem is solved and sry for posting in the wrong section
Restart your computer and boot it into Safe Mode.

Once in safe mode, Google "Combo Fix" and download that. Once it's downloaded, run it and restart your computer.
Explorer.exe does screw up your computer, but not that much...
Get's rid of your toolbar, and your icons, and it can no longer be fixed.
Happened to me, ran a virus scan and when my virusscanner raped it, explorer.exe was gone and everything else on my screen was gone, and my life was with windows task manager.

Try doing what Tony said....
Solved.
