Lag + Fps spikes
Hi guys...usually i put my CF priority in the task manager below normal to stop my lag. Without doing that i have 120-200 ping..it changes every second. With it i get 40-60 ping and its very stable.
Well one day i loged on and my ping is 40...but every 5 seconds my screen freezes for like 2 seconds...when i changed back to normal priority it doesn't do that but i get the high ping. Either way its very hard to play...does anyone have a solution?
I didn't download anything..my drivers are up to date..i defrag and use CCleaner..
Thanks in Advance
Your lag must be some kind of incompatibilities.
The ping is mostly because your recived internet speed is not stable, so it can make a clear ping.
Call your internet distribuitor and tell them about it.
Let only Crossfire use your bandwidth, so the chances of you lag in game is smaller.
And remember to check if don't have any kind of virus in your computer, they can affect your ping.
Maybe reset your internet?
Take out everything and re put it back in.
I've scanned for viruses, I'm using comcast for internet and I'm using windows 7(64bit) and CF is compatible with it isn't it? And how do i put more bandwidth on CF?

Edit: I've tried to change the compatability in the task manager to Windows XP and Vist, doesn't fix it. I've also noticed that when i join a game my ping is 50ish, but once i start moving and playing the ping goes higher and i start spiking.
Use Game Boster
Turn On Top Performance And Restart Your System
Use Too CCleaner And Scan Your PC
I've recently been experiencing the same thing. When I would press left the character would respond 1 second later...
Probably CF is bugged out, see if they fix it in the next patch.

Ya i already use CCleaner and gamebooster

I'll just wait until next patch and see if there is a difference
Sometimes is better you wait they fix their own errors, maybe there's no problems with you.
