F**k it.
I've been dodging learning C++ intently for a year, because it just looks devilish... But then i read this:

The Biggest Changes in C++11 (and Why You Should Care)

and this

C++0x FAQ

And i'm like cool, i guess i'll go ahead and learn C++ now.

Anyone got any idea when a compiler will ship for C++11, or anyone know of some open source compilers that are trying to push out an implementation really quickly?
Devilish? wtf
Eh, looks ugly to me, but i'm used to a higher level looking language...
Most compilers already implement the changes in C++11.

Hardly, most of the compilers i find only support some of the new features in C++11, and even then it's all experimental, what i'm talking about is an official release of a compiler that fully supports all improvements and added features.

g++ and Microsoft C++ compiler (> 10.x)'s compiler only support elements of the new standard... Luckily they've supported the major ones like vector<vector<string>> for a while.
Am I the only one who uses 2008版?

Also using 2008, less compatibility problems with Source SDK
