Looking for a new computer.
I'd like some advice and whatnot. *its a desktop*

Please post specs and shit if you got any suggestions.(along with price).
-Going for the 800-1.5k range-

Also, please realize that i will use this for gaming.

i'm getting a new computer too, was gonna get factory stock but my uncles sons friend builds awesome computers for cheap, tomorrow i'll have a a sheet of $500-$8000 rigs and their specs to pick from. i'll bump this thread and mention you, he's amazing at building rigs. my cousin has a 6000 laptop that he built him.

Laptops have relatively low use for gaming and such.

They overheat, consume massive battery, and usually gaming laptops are a little too big to carry around everywhere.

Anything laptops can do, desktops do better. Added that i hardly take my laptop anywhere anymore.

I know laptops are irrelevant. I'm just stating that my cousin has a $6000 laptop that his friend built him. I'm getting quotes for towers.
The most bang for the buck comes from building your own machine. If you're weary about doing that, you shouldn't be. The first PC I ever built is the machine I'm using right now.
