Reload map farming question

if i want to farm bloody thorns and i kill the diggers then one of the diggers drops an item and i reload the map will these diggers still drop items?

im asking this cuz i tried farming heavy warrior fragments by reloading the same map but once u kill the boss and it drops something it wont drop again when u reload the map and kill it again

Regular mobs can still drop evil cores even after a reload map.
Boss mobs do not.

So, yes, you can continually reload a map and kill diggers.
