Languages of Black Ops To English

Hello Welcome to my thread, this thread is for people who bought the Russian version or any other language version of black ops and would prefer having English version, this also contains files for Black Ops DLC's but is not required for this. also this will get ur DLC working in English Version

This file needs extracting to

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\zone\English

Does this have the voice files too?

I was wondering if these files contain the info for the New DLC? I changed the localization to English and put the files in the correct places but it seems like my dlc is still missing info any-help?

well i translated my from russian to english and ive got no problems

patched the german usk - works afaik 100% with the new rezurrection map pack.

i think its also important to delete the german *.iwd s in folder "main" and to delete the folder "german" in "zone"...

Doesn't work for me. Downloaded all the files and followed the guidelines, still get odd hints and text on the Rezurrection map pack...

What am I doing wrong?

edit// My previous language was Russian. I also tried to delete all the Russian files but still doesn't seem to work. Also I noticed there were 15 Russian language files, only 14 in this topic, maybe that has something to do with it?

no i have to get the english video files, i have a mate who can private torrent em to me, ill ask him soon and then ill upload them onto a hosting site, like media fire, mega upload, *********** etc

could someone tell me a good place to upload over 1GB file for free and doesnt have a limit of how many people can download it?

I got the language file working now. I apologize it was my mistake. I didn't download the first .rar because I though I already had all the files that were in there but few ones were missing. Foolish me.

I've finished SP campaign though. If only I could gift this game. I found out that I'm no MP player :/

For the first part I noticed how it says "English" folder but on mines I have "Russian" instead. Should I delete it, or what?

i kept russian folder so that steam doesnt download em again
