So Resourceful

I was defending an objective with a UMP-45 and ran out of UMP ammo. I was thinking "Fuck, what do I do". I switched to my pistol and carried on. I ended up getting an 11 kill streak before dying because of a sniper.

For those new guys, the pistols in BF are actually realistic, so they're just as useful as any primary.

The pistols are pretty good yes. Especially with a modded controller since there aren't really any maximum fire rate. Just as fast as the server can handle.

Obviously they'd be a giveaway, but you can easily blind people. If you get blinded, you can't really tell exactly where the person is, but if you think quick enough you'll shoot in the middle of the light and actually kill them.

They're not OP, it's just that every gun is balanced. You never get killed with the same gun over and over again.

As a cod4 promod player, switching to pistol after a clip empty is just habbit, and I have to totally agree they made pistols very viable in CQB which is great reminds me alot like the deagle in promod.

I hate pistols, hard as fuck for me to get kills with them unless I am for the face.

i just hate their flashlights, always freaking team blinding -.-

Comparison to any other games fail hard.
So yeah i like Bf3 it seems good for now some minor bugs here and there and i still see Le noob 24/7
But BF3 you have to have some nice teamwork.
2 days ago i was playng with a crappy team sudently a heavy gunner connects so he and i imedeatly Team up he suplys me with ammo while i revive him each 5 seconds and we just Push like crazys FTW

If you want realism go play ARMA :P

the pistols on bf3 is so USEFUL! i love them, i can run around using them to get kills i lovem

i think pistols are realistic
they make it seem like it takes 10 shots with a pistol to kill someone in black ops
but in real life 2 to 3 shots to the chest can be just as effective as 15 bullets from a m416 (my favorite gun in BF3)

I use the silenced G18 soo yeah its useful just it ran outta ammo for me xD
