Three questions...

1. What's the point of the second file I had to install?

What's the point of having the second d/l item?

I mean, I know @Moto kinda answered this question already, but I don't really get it.

Does aIW update itself? Or do you have to run a manual update.

And what can you do to make it update itself automatically / manually ?

And what do I do to make it update itself. @ Moto , was it the stuff you posted about changing the file?

2. If I wanted to uninstall MW2, do I run this program:

Or do I just delete the files?

3. Can I move the program iw4mp.exe onto my desktop or whatever? Or do I have the drag the whole folder onto my desktop? Cause I wanna have a quick shortcut to it.

If you want alteriwnet to auto-update open up this file

in notepad and make sure "enable_updates 1"

If you want to uninstall MW2 you can just delete your whole "Modern Warfare 2" folder.

If you want to have a shortcut to it, right click on iw4mp.exe and roll over "send to" and click desktop, then you will have a shortcut for MW2 on your desktop.

Yeah, definately; so you can update automatically.

Second file.

EDIT: It was automatically set

So does that mean I don't have to do anything to update it?

And I can play in like a year from now, and it'll be updated... ?

It is for people that don't have auto auto update on or just don't have it. As they don't need to DL the full game again.

Yeah you don't have to do anything, if it doesn't work you can always try the updater though..
