The government is at it again - STOP CENSORSHIP NOW

The congress is holding hearings today for the Stop Online Piracy Act. If the DMCA wasn't abused enough already, this act will allow copyright holders to have ISPs block websites and content on websites that they feel violate their rights. It will also force ISPs to monitor their users for pirating or any other illicit activity. In essence, this law will destroy net neutrality and eventually the internet.

Speak to your Representative or, at a minimum, sign this petition.

They've actually been trying to put this through since 2006, but it keeps getting overlooked. When the whole Egypt riot thing happened, someone actually convinced congress to take a look at the bill. I've already signed three petitions and sent many letters to the congressional staff. I suggest everyone does the same.
