Last time I had immense fun in a war game was in Call of Duty 2. Longish campaign, very good graphics for the time, interesting set pieces and actual grand large scale battles (Stalingrad is one of my favourite missions of all time). Fortress Stalingrad missions, The Tiger and The End of The Beginning were my fav missions
