Using Source Codes & Quick Question...

I recently download a some MW2 source codes, but whichever i download it always says there is a tons of errors... What should you do to get them working?

One of the Source Codes i'm using is the external one for MW2, i can't get it working... Please help me, i need a place to start...

Also i've a quick question i hope you're willing to answer, how did you got started by coding, i can't find a certain point. All those C++ books costs a hell or dosn't seems to have a start or either an end, just like it's all placed random...

this is the wrong place to start, Learn how to code first, then move to this.

And buy a book, dont be greedy. If you cant really buy one, at least get a PDF online.
