Really wierd lag.

Hey Mpgh.
Anyone knows why my Emachine pc lags so much but my vaio only lags average about 60.
Both computers are on the same network, but the difference in impossible to ignore.
The vaio lags about 70 top, but the Emachine lags about 2000-3000(yea, thousands)
the 2 pcs are on the same network.
the specs are about the same and they both exceed the system requirements.
They can both run new single player mode games smoothly( games like borderlands, bulletstorm,...)
i don't get why they difference is so big.

the internet is provided by comcast.
I got the xfinity package.
speed tested on speedtest.net

download is about 20 mbps
upload is about 5 mbps.
tested on both pc, same results

Maybe there is a program running on the emachine that slow it down....

i tried all the other recent games.(on both pcs)
run perfectly good.(on both as well)
so there is no reason why the emachine should lag like that.

Tried running Optimization Software + Game Boosting software?(ex. Gamebooster, etc)

i tried it before u even told me to, results are about the same, but thnx for taking ur time and help.

get a new pc then...

but yeah try gamebooster 3 btw it helped me on my old pc

.. wait are u talking about ping? if so that is impossible unless ur pcs firewall is doing somthing to affect it

i just dont know what the hell it is that's bring the emachine down, but im pretty sure i dont like it.
plz mpgh, i wanna be able to play CF on the emachine pc.

You should do a comeplete Virus scan. Maybe you have some Malware that connect to the internet

virus scans huh?
i don't know any of them, except for the microsoft essientail security scan thingy.
any one know a good one?

ESET, Kaspersky, etc. Try those.
