HELP INSTALL WINDOWS

Okay, well im trying to isntall windows 7 or windows XP... I have an external HDD and thats all... I've tried the USB flash methods (because its the same thing) and i keep getting MISSING NTLDR error... I tried stright upp copying a HDD with everything on it, and same prob... If i try installing XP (from my disc) onto the EXT HDD itll give me the Blue Screen Error. With windows 7 disc it says it cannot be isntalled onto a usb...

Are you trying to install to the external HDD or from it? And if it's the first, expect shitty performance, if it's the latter: Install Windows 7 From an External Hard Drive | PCWorld. Should work with any version of 7, disregard the fact that it's for the RC.

In that case open it up and take the HDD and put it normally into your PC. Alternatively, if you want shitty performance, try this: How To Install Windows 7 On USB Flash Drive or External Hard Drive
