What Is A Jtag : Jtagging is just a mod put in the xbox so you can have different mods such as the "wall hack" or aim-bot and the modded tenth lobbies are a yes. but when you have a jtag it has alot of other wonderful opportunitiesDangers Of Jtag :
Jtagging, modding, or hacking. are all highly illegal, can get you bannedd from xbox live and migh sent you to JAIL
Benefits Of Jtag :
• ALL XBOX Live Arcade games can be unlocked, all DLC unlocked, ALL (US) Indy games unlocked. Unlock Themes, Gamer Pictures and more (including the DivX update).
• Allows using the XBOX 360 itself to rip/dump your games (that alone makes things the more interesting).
• Allows booting XBOX 360 games from External HDD's & USB sticks.
• Allows installing your very own 2.5" SATA HDD, without needing to pay an arm and a leg for a 'Microsoft' proprietary one or needing to comply with their ‘uniform’ size restricted HDD’s (e.g. 500Gb HDD is tested and working).
• Linux based Operating Systems with keyboard and mouse support!
• Emulators (MAME360/SNES360 etc…)
Future projects will likely consist of a XBMC360 edition & the ongoing homebrew support continues to grow daily, with dashboards, applications and backward compatibility support!

How Easy Is It To JTAG Xbox 360 :
Before you JTag XBox 360 you need to know how much effort’s involved, and what are the tools you need. It’s not as easy as jailbreaking your iPhone and holding some buttons, and it will probably take you 1-2 hours if you follow the instructions carefully and get it right first time! First things first, check the firmware revision level on your XBox,as the JTag Xbox 360 is only possible on firmware levels up to 2.0.7371.0, so if your firmware level is 2.0.8xxx then I’m sorry you’re out of luck Now in order to complete this job you need to
Things (Tools) You Need To Jtag :
Hardware:
- A ‘hackable’ XBOX 360
- Buffered XBOX 360 JTAG bundle (these are easy enough to buy, just Google it!)
- Solder iron, solder and solder paste.
Software:
- NANDPro (current Version 2.0 d)
- CD Info (currently Version 1b)
- Infectus NAND Checker (currently Version 1.1)
- MD5 Comparison Tool (find a hex editor for this job)
- 360 Flash Tool (currently Version 0.91)
The benefit of using a buffered jtag board is the reliability over unbuffered boards, as the data is buffered (doh!). The parallel port is TTL data which is 5V, but your NAND uses 3.3v, so a homemade unbuffered cable could damage your NAND. The buffered JTAG board is a native 3.3v so it’s much safer!
