Yes i have BF3. And it runs by Origin and not Steam. My experiance is that origin works pretty well but it cannot handle days of new expension releases. The new expension Back to Karkland came out and everybody massively want to play it, but the Origin couldnt handle all the people loggin on to game servers ect.
