main reason i'm releasing this is cuz its taking up useless space on my computer lol. i use it for mod testing and nothin else
it works with Hamachi though if u wanna play multiplayer via LAN
shouldn't be any viruses lol unless CShell and engine count as one LOL
anyway, how to run it
Run CAPS.exe
its set to run Window mode @ 800x600, if u wanna modify this, go to display and change resolution.
To undo window mode, go to options and delete the command line
Select Play to start the client
2 Maps are included: Cabin Fever (non working as of yet for spawns of zombies) and Brushwood (i think XD)
To launch a map, go to Single Player, select Custom Level and then click either Cabin fever or DM_01
should launch into the game
Controls
WASD and mouse to move, EQ to bend around corners
Left click fires, right click to pick things up
1-6 to select weapons
here's my debug settings
F1 is ghost mode (use WASD and mouse to move around, tells you your coordinates at bottom, its cool)
F2 is spectator mode (WASD and mouse to move around, same as ghost mode but this will teleport you)
F3 turns off HUD
F4 saves Camera Position to a text file in the CAPS folder
F5 shows AI info
F6 quick saves
F7 is the master code, hit it for all weapons, god mode, the whole 9 yards
F8 saves a screen shot
F9 ends current game
I will be releasing weapon packs (i'll provide a tutorial for people to do it themselves), more maps, attribute edits, clientfx fixes, sound files, and other updates depending on how popular this gets.
THESE SHOULD COME ONCE A WEEK OR MORE
