DIY Playing BF3 without Origin

I was just messing around with the old "crack" that let you played the game without Origin, I applied what the creator of the crack did to the latest version of the game, works flawlessly. I'm not going to include any files so you don't have to worry about viruses, the process is simple and easy.

Download Hex Editor here HxD - Freeware Hex Editor and Disk Editor | mh-nexus

Install Hex Editor

Make a backup of awc.dll from Battlefield 3\Core directory

Now open awc.dll in Hex Editor, look on the left column, find Offset 00018530

Change the number 85 to 84 like in these pictures




Have fun and do not post this on EA forum or EA affiliated sites, no one wants this to be patched.
If you are going to leech this, at least give credits.

Do we need an origin account that has BF3 associated with it?

Just tried this and it doesn't work at all, it just crashes BF3 before it starts.

Lmfao, you do know that game companies know about MPGH right?

Theres a way to do it where you can launch bf3 from battlelog. Hurrdur check the settings or something like it.

Here we go..
Go to settings on origin and disable ingame origin.
Then go to general and disable the cloud storage.
You SHOULD be able to go to battlelog and start joining servers from there.

Well from what I remember it keeps origin in the background and tries to validate himself.

so this doesnt work anymore?
