Attack at School, Had Lockdown

Roughly five guys came to my school at lunch with bats, machetes, and a pellet gun. They attacked a bunch of kids, five were injured, and one is in unstable condition. Our school got called into lockdown an we had to sit there in our locked classrooms for 10 minutes until the principle said it's a "lockout", which means nobody is allowed in or out of the school. Since they had a gun we were told to attend the class we were in during the lockdown. I was in computer science luckily.

Some quotes/rumors from people around my school:

"This guy got hit in the face with a bat, took it like a champ, and knocked the kid out. True fucking badass."

"*censored* got hit in the back of the head with a bat, his head's fucked."

"Some Asian gang was coming to hurt these guys because they owed money."

Well, that never happened at my school.

Who the fuck brings a machete to hurt someone? More like maim someone or kill someone.

Pre-Calculus. Five minutes after a girl left our class the school got called into lockdown. Roughly two hours after (Lockdown is over by now), the girl that left Pre-Calculus posted a link to CBC News on her Facebook which showed her getting interviewed after she had a pellet gun (which she thought was a real gun) pointed at her face.

Define "outside", because this incident happened at the front steps. It went from lockdown to lockout in 5 minutes.

A past student came to our school with a metal pipe,

He proceeded to run up and down verandas, smashing windows. I was in one of the class rooms in which the windows smashed.

Instead of our school going into lockdown, a Physical Education teacher tackled him and called the police.

stupid Australian schools.
