Is it possible to make this?

Is it possible to build a gaming console based on the same general parts as a gaming pc? I have access to powerful GPU's, CPU's, and multiple other pieces
that would make for one hell of a system. One problem: HOW? I'm not sure where to start, I'm not great with the hardware but i can assemble a computer. If anyone knows a good way to start building a game system that would run audio and video cables to a TV or possibly even HDMI and run PC software, XNA built software, and maybe even Playstation 3. If anyone has a hint at how to start please reply. If not, please don't flame.

Buy a ps3, jack off some parts and google the rest

People go to school to learn this stuff bro. Its called engineering takes 5 years to finish schooling for it. I doubt you will find anyone who could help you.
