DETECTION

So i was wondering,if i use some other hack like Battlefield or anything else when APB scans my PC will they ban me.
Im not sure cuz i know if they scan hack,they ban.

They can not and will not ban you if you use hacks on other games. The scans do not affect anything aside from your game while it is currently running. They do not scan anything else. Do not worry about it.

well first you should know which programs runs to catch cheats for your game because there are lots of games that use PB (punkbuster) and if your game is useing that then ya u can get ban if battlefiled uses PB so far i dont play battlefiled so i dont know which program they use. well gud luck if this helped you

yes you can get banned for hacks for other games. My friend had a mw3 trainer and he got banned from punkbuster.

The aim of the program is to isolate cheaters and prevent them from disrupting legitimate games.. you writing, "banned from punkbuster" makes absolutely no sense.. PunkBuster is just a program that detects real deal, from hackers.

EDIT: No It's is impossible to get banned from other games, if you are banned from APB Reloaded in this instance. PunkBuster is a program cheap MMO PC Games use to protect their games (Still doesn't solve the issue of us coming in and owning their ass)

i dont like punkbuster scanning my computer. thats an invasion of privacy. what if it finds my porn? lol

I doesn't scan your computer. It scans your active processes. If you leave a MW3 hack running whilst playing APB and get banned, your fault.

It scans the wjole pc and there was an article that even hacks for other games can get you banned as well but im not very sure

im pretty sure it doesnt scan your computer o.O, or atleast never banned me, ive had some old bf detected hacks on my computer for ages and i never got banned for it by punkbuster in any of the games...

EDIT: also in apb's case, _PUNKBUSTER_ doesnt ban you, it flags you and they ban you manually...

if they scan your pc, they are violating your privacy, nowhere in their ToS does it say they can scan your PC and keep the information, if they do keep it, you can get banned, yes, but you can also file a law-suit for privacy violation

1) They are not scanning the contents of your pc...they are scanning the programs and processes that are running at the moment. Scanning your PC would be like breaking into your house and taking pictures of all your shit. scanning running processes is like seeing what you're watching on television at the moment by standing on the street and looking in your open window.

2) they most likely do not keep the information. it would require craptons of storage to store the streaming data they get from each and every player. it just lets stuff flow in front of its detectors and if it spots something illegal, it bans. it probably does keep the record of the flag that got thrown, but thats not the same thing as recording whats on your computer.

3) its not privacy violation if you agree to it by OKing the EULA. they probably worded it very carefully to make sure that they are not seen as recording anything from your computer.
