Hello all,

I have a question.
Someone just said he knows my ipadress (he is blaming me for something i dind't do )
So how did he do that. Or did he lied?

Well if you know your IP, ask him to provide proofs or something like that.

By the way IP address can be obtained in many ways since it is a public information, unless you are hiding your IP with specific softwares.

Could you tell me how he can know that ?

There are several ways to obtain one, but if you are unsure if he really got your IP, ask him and check if is really yours...

No, just search on Google and there will be thousand of tutorials available about the subject.

if he says he knows your IP address, he's lieing, unless he's like a GM Admin.

i knew it , because when i said " what's my ip adress" he said: you're putting more proof for banning you asshole

Well dude if he got your ip then ask him to proof it to you by telling you it!
otherwise he is probably lieing!

Google is your friend
You can obtain someone's IP address when he send you an email for instance

But well, just so you can stop turning my answers into questions again, an example:
How to find the IP address of the email sender in Gmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail, AOL, Outlook Express, etc.
