Crossfire gamma bug
I turned crossfire gamma all the way up and played for a bit, then i exited it and now my regular screen is so bright like it was in crossfire, i tried opening crossfire again and putting the gamme down but still didnt work, and i tried putting the brightness down on my screen manually but it didnt look right.

my computer: windows vista

desktop
post a SS so I can see.
Yeah that problem happens if CF doesn't close properly when your gamma is all the way up. A simple restart should do it, and if you enter CF again then your gamma will high again. That's when you go to the options and then set it back to 50. Because you restarting and everything, your CF will close without the gamma going bright.

and i restarted computer and put my gamma lower to 50 it still didnt work
SS approved...

Your 'gamma' looks normal to me.

Try reinstalling CF.
No its not normal, on the SS you wont notice it. FYI when I start my computer and log in it doesnt have that issue, but after 10 seconds it goes bright

I have no idea then bro. When this happens to me a simple restart just does it.

Do you know how to adjust the gamma on windows vista running on AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 910 processor 2.60 GHz, i went into the amd control centre and tried different things and well i was able to adjust the brightness but it still didnt look right because gamma controls the brightness of each pixel and the brightness adjustment only controls like the physical look, I think crossfire left the gamma registry file .
Not exactly sure how. I think you should just reinstall, delete the remnants of the crossfire folder in your program directory after uninstalling, and then install the game again.
So after the uninstallation i should restart my computer to see if the problem is still there?
Yeah, that's a good idea. Give that a shot.

So I tried uninstalling crossfire and restarting my computer, same problem
Maybe this is not related to crossfire gamma. Maybe you did something to your "brightness" system...
, I'd contact them via Support Ticket for issues like these. These issues aren't so common. ;S
