Did I miss something?

Mentions aren't working for some people but they work for others?

should have made it clearer, i mean that it might only work for staff, minions and GM's etc

Honestly, I'm not sure why it does that.

I can try reinstalling the plugin, but it makes no sense to me.

Does the name turn black even though you've mentioned them? because that's what I'm assuming this is as it seems to happening like that
