APB? Really?

I thought APB got shut down by EA like last year.. I have the game & I noticed the forum on MPGH, then I looked at the dates and thought, "no way!" so I tried to install it and make an account, it didn't work. What's the dealio?

Patch 1.9.0 installing on the servers.

Game is free now and its named APB Reloaded. And in no way like the one you bought. Less broken
